My love for photography began to blossom at the start of 2003. Watching images form in the midst of the murky school developer trays was the start of a never ending journey of exploration and passion. I discovered the design elements and played with the ideas of composition, tones, and textures. I studied many great black and white photographers and was inspired by the new and developing digital era.

At the end of 2003 my black and white artwork was shown at The Age Photography exhibition, a prestigious reward for me at the age of 15. My work was further chosen out of hundreds to travel regional Victoria with the exhibition. At the end of 2005 I had gained the highest Studio Art Study Score at my school and my images had been short listed out of thousands of students to be involved in the VCE Year 2005 Top Arts exhibition.

2nd quarter 2006 my work was awarded a place in the Ilford Print Competition, a program of which many Australian tertiary institutions entered. My work won the prize again in 1st quarter 2007.

I have recently completed my studies in a Bachelor of Arts Photography degree, majoring in editorial fashion and beauty work.
